Our next meeting takes place on Thursday 22nd November 2012 at Oxford City FC and we welcome Kim Wharton who will be giving a talk on perch fishing. Kim joined The Perchfishers about four and a half years ago after catching a decent fish, he wanted to learn more about the perch and hopefully catch a few of specimen size. Well he has certainly done that and rates his best catch as two perch for exactly 8lb! a catch he made a couple of years ago. Kim is now on The Perchfishers Committee, fulfilling the role of website manager for the group.
The meeting starts at 7.30 pm and everybody is welcome, PAC members £3, non members £5.
I am now taking names for our next fish-in which is at Orchid Lakes at Dorchester-on-Thames. This takes place on Sunday 9th December 2012 and is £20 per angler. At our exclusive fish-in at this venue last season some 50 pike were caught up to 21lb so its well worth attending. Fish-ins are for PAC members only.
