Our next meeting is the last one of the 2013-13 season and takes place on Thursday 11th April 13 at Oxford City Football Club, starting at 7.30pm.
We have a change of guest speaker as due to work commitments Dave Horton can no longer attend but we hope to see him next season so our thanks to Nathan Edgell for stepping in.
Nathan is a Pikeaholic who has been pike fishing for around 8 years and the last 2 have been particularly successful resulting in 55 river twenties and a thirty as well as a couple of reservoir fish.
He concentrates mainly on river piking, using a very simple roving one rod method with either lures or baits and a system of staying mobile and reading the water. Nathan is 41 years old, married with 2 small children and is based in Dorset.
The meeting is open to everyone. PAC members £3, non-members £5 pay on the door.
It will also be trophy night and currently the standings are as follows:
Biggest Stillwater Pike - Tony Hallatt 26lb 13oz
Biggest River Pike - Steve Thompson 17lb
Junior Trophy - Ryan Styles 11lb
Remember you have until midnight on 14th March to report any bigger fish and you must have paid regional subs to be eligible for the trophies.
